Google has revised its help documentation page on AI Overviews to guide users on how to display only web results in search, excluding AI Overviews, videos, images, and similar content. Additionally, it now includes instructions on how to provide feedback on the AI Overviews offered by Google. These changes are a direct response to the backlash Google has faced regarding some of its AI Overviews.

Displaying Only Web Links in Google Search
AI Overviews are an integral part of Google Search, similar to knowledge panels, and cannot be disabled. However, after performing a search, you can choose the Web filter. This filter will show only text-based links, excluding features like AI Overviews.
Providing Feedback
If you encounter an AI Overview that you find unsafe, unhelpful, inaccurate, or problematic for any reason, you can provide feedback to help improve the experience. Follow these steps:
- At the top right of the overview, click the Menu icon.
- Tap Feedback.
- Select the specific element of the AI overview your feedback pertains to.
- Choose the appropriate feedback category.
- (Optional) Add a description.
